On joining the ship the personal have to make themselves completely familiar with the vessel’s cargo system arrangements as well as ballast, COW and IG systems.

CARGO OPERATIONS    货物操作

Prior to any cargo operations a loading or discharging plan will be compiled and delivered for the officers’ acknowledgment. The copy of the plan will be posted in the CCR. Any modification or amendment to the plan would be detailed in the Chief Officer Order Book.

在货物操作之前,装卸计划必须交付驾驶员承认,计划的复印件必须张帖在货控室,任何对计划的修改都必须详细地列明在大副命令簿中

  Monitor IG pressure in COTs and Oxygen content if the plant in operation.

在设备运行时,随时监控货油舱惰气压力和含氧量。

Report to the ECR an occurrence of heavy smoke from the funnel.

若烟囱冒浓烟时,请及时报告机舱集控室。

Moorings have to be attended. While handling the moorings beware of possible ship’s shift. Special care has to given to fire wires. Do not let them come into the water.

必须及时调整缆绳。在操作缆绳时小心船位移动。尤其小心防火缆,不要让它到水中。

 Check and keep safe means of access to the ship.

检查和保持通船舶的通道安全。

 No unauthorized personal to be allowed on board. All visitors to be identified and if possible escorted to the destination.

不经允许任何人不准上船,必须辨明所有参观者并如有可能把他送到目的地。

 At night time provide adequate illumination of the deck.

在晚上,甲板必须有足够的照明。

 Check and make sure that all personal on watch properly clad and comply with safety requirements.

  In any case keep up with the Company high standards of service.

无论如何都应遵守公司最高指示。

  On handing over the watch make sure that all important information regarding cargo operations and safety of the ship has been passed to the reliever and he comprehend it.

在交接时确认所有有关货物操作和船舶安全的重要信息完全交接妥并且接班者已全部理解。

  Duty officer should have a walk round on deck for safety check to match the requirement of the SSP during his duty shift. Make sure that security duty persons had properly controlled the boarding access, monitored the restricted area and the surrounding area of the ship. And make sure that the duty persons had strictly checked every boarding persons belongings and their identify card with picture, and had well recorded the boarding persons name, company name, ID number, boarding reasons, and so on.

  值班驾驶员在他值守期间必须到甲板做一个安全巡视以达到船舶保安计划的要求。必须确认甲板安全值守人员能够很好,正确地控制船舶登轮通道,监控船舶的限制区域和船舶的周围水域,确保船舶的安全。同时必须确认值守人员严格检查每个登轮人员的随身携带的物品及其身份证件并登记好每个登轮人员的姓名,公司名称,ID号码,登轮理由等。

Duty officer should sign the DOI (Declaration of Inspection), put into your printed name, date, time.

值班驾驶员必须签署检查声明,写下名字,日期,时间。

While vessel berthing at narrow water area, such as Mississippi river, duty officer should inform the duty crew on deck, they should put attention at mooring lines, make sure all mooring lines got same tighten, when another vessel passing overand report to OOW immediately. OOW should inform dock man and inspect the condition of the loading arms with them.

当船舶停靠在狭窄水域码头时,比如密西西比河,值班驾驶员应告诉甲板值班人员,每当有另外船舶驶过我船时,他们必须注意我船的缆绳情况,所有的缆绳必须保持同样的受力,同时立即报告值班驾驶员。值班驾驶员应通知码头,并同码头工人一起确认货油臂或软管的状态。

 MSDS(material safety data sheet) read, have a knowledge to the cargo properties and first aid measurement to concerned cargo.

必须阅读MSDS,了解熟悉货物的特性以及相关的急救措施。

At the end of each watch up all relevant logs.

交接事项必须记入相关的记录中。

   If I am out of CCR or due to some reason do not aware of the following, call or inform me immediately:

如果我离开货控间或由于某种原因而不知道以下各项,请立即叫我。

a) shore personal ask for something you do not know

码头人员询问一些你不知道的问题

b) if cargo operations are coming to a stage when you do not know what is the next action to take

在货物操作中已经到了下一步不知道如何操作时。

c) if you find a big difference in loading or discharging rate between shore and ship.

如果你发现船岸装卸速度有很差别时。

d) If weather deteriorates rapidly or thunderstorm approaches the ship

如果天气迅速恶化或雷暴接近我船时。

e) In case of technical breakdowns or leakage

如果技术指数下降或有滴漏时

f) If you need to deviate from loading or discharging plan

如果你需要背离装卸计划时

g) If you suspect any danger to the ship terminal or environment

如果你怀疑对船舶、码头和环境有任何危险时。

Prior cargo operations the Duty Officer has to carry out all necessary safety checks and fills up all relevant checklists. Also he has to inquire if there are any special instructions from terminal or port authorities regarding a safety practice of the ship.

在货物操作前,值班驾驶员必须完成所有安全检查和填好所有相关的安全检查表,同样还需要问清楚终端或港口当局对于船舶安全方面的特殊要求。

Means of communication with the parties concerned to be established and checked. Keep in mind that some other ship could use the same VHF or UHF channel and in this way she could effect your safety.; If it is so choose another channel or ask the ship to leave your working channel.

有关方面的通讯手段必须建立和检查,注意其它船有可能用同一VHFUHF频道并可能影响你的安全操作,如果是这样请转换另外的频道或要求他船离开你的工作频道。

Make radio check regularly and carry out it compulsory before any important operation is about to commence.

定期地检查对讲机,尤其是在任何重要的操作开始前。

On the beginning of cargo operations the duty Officer has to be at ship’s manifolds watching if any leaks occur and providing immediate link with shore personal.

在货物操作开始时,值班驾驶员必须在管汇附近值守,如果有任何泄漏可马上与码头人员取得联系。

While discharging the frequent checks of the pump room to be carried out. The check should include:

在卸油时,泵房必须经常检查,检查的项目包括:

a) check for any leaks

检查任何渗漏。

b) monitoring of bilges

监视污水情况。

c) cargo and ballast pumps bearings’ temperatures

货油泵和压载泵的轴承温度。

d) vacuum pump’s temperatures

真空泵的温度。

e) pump room atmoshphere

泵房的空气情况。

When operating valves refer them both by numbers and locations. Also before any operation starts make involved personal aware the purpose and sequence of presumed actions.

  The ullages in tanks have to be monitored closely. Radar detectors readings to be checked with UT1 tape well before topping off.

  Check the hull stresses with loading PC and advice me if they become (more than 90%) Make cargo calculations at 1 hourly basis.

经常用装卸电脑核对船体强度,在强度超过90%时请叫我,每一小时计算一次货量。
